About the Program:
The FWPCOA State Short Schools are advanced training programs for persons employed in water and wastewater treatment, collection/distribution systems operations, stormwater management, industrial pretreatment, and customer relations. The FWPCOA State Short Schools are presented by the FWPCOA in cooperation with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. We present both a spring and fall short school.
All FWPCOA certification classes require a high school diploma or equivalent.

Who Should Attend:
Water/wastewater, collection/distribution systems, stormwater, industrial pretreatment, and backflow prevention operators; electrical and instrumentation personnel; customer relations personnel; superintendents; managers; maintenance personnel; supervisors; regulatory officials; and others interested in the subject areas.
Constructive Experience Credit and Continuing Education Units (CEU's):
Operators who attend and complete courses will receive credit toward DEP certification. as wells as Continuing Education Units.
Registration and Fees:
Please visit the Forms Depository to download all registration forms. Please only register one person per form. The fee for each course is listed on it application form. A completed registration form and fee are needed to process your registration. A full refund is given only if course is cancelled. Make check or money order payable to FW&PCOA Training.
