Utility Maintenance III
Voluntary Certification Course

This voluntary certification course is designed for utility maintenance personnel, such as plant and pump station mechanics and electricians. It is 30 hours in length and includes the course manual published by the FW&PCOA.


The Level III course provides an introduction to utility maintenance and examines pump types and applications, pump parts, pump maintenance, motors and electrical principles, drives and couplings, methods of measurements, valve and flow measurement, backflow prevention and cross-connection control, and safety


There are 2 separate tracks, 4 hours each Wednesday in consecutive classes; only 16 available seats per track; only one track can be selected due to class size restraints.
