Meeting Host: Manatee County at their Southeast Water Reclamation Facility's maintenance building conference room.  (follow the signs)

Meeting Sponsor: Aqua-Aerobic Systems which will be presenting the Aerobic Granular Sludge Technology that is in its initial construction phases at the Manatee County - Southeast Water Reclamation Facility. This technology will be adopted at all three of the County's wastewater treatment facilities and promises to potentially be used for AWT in the future should the County choose to pursue that or be required by FDEP to adopt. We encourage operations staff from all wastewater facilities to attend this meeting.

Aqua-Aerobic Systems is an applied engineering company providing water and wastewater solutions for both municipal and industrial customers. This presentation will introduce the AquaNereda® Aerobic Granular Sludge Technology, an innovative secondary treatment process that achieves biological treatment using the unique features of the granular biomass. The process attributes of the technology translate into flexible and compact treatment offering energy efficiency and high quality effluent, including nutrient removal objectives.
