The Utilities Maintenance III voluntary certification course is developed for utility maintenance personnel, such as plant and pump station mechanics and electricians. The course is 30 hours in length, includes the course manual published by the FW&PCOA, and covers pumps, motors, basic electrical, backflow prevention and cross-connection control, types of maintenance programs, valves and safety.
Region 7 is also making the Utilities Maintenance III course presentation available for licensed operator continuing education. You may select one or more seminars presented during the course and you have the option of registering on-line or registering by traditional methods (mail, email or fax). In either case, please complete and submit the following continuing education program application.
If you have any questions, please contact Region 7 Treasurer Tim McVeigh at 07-treasurer@fwpcoa.org or at .
If you are a member of the FW&PCOA, please log-in before registering on-line for the voluntary certification course or CEU seminars. If you are not a member of the association and want to avoid paying repetitive non-member tuition fees, please consider first becoming a member by signing up and paying the annual membership dues of $30. By becoming an annual member, you will pay the member rate for all FW&PCOA training programs for one year and will receive a 12-month subscription to the Florida Water Resources Journal.
